Rope Access Level III Technician with NDT Certification

Panthera Solutions Inc. is growing its team to service Guyana's developing oil & gas industry. Our aim is to be Guyana’s leading provider of industrial solutions and value-added services in asset maintenance and offshore deck services. We are currently looking for individuals to work as Rope Access Level III Technicians with NDT Certification (PCN) within our onshore and offshore operations.

A Level 3 Rope Access Technician is a professional who demonstrates the skills and knowledge required of Levels 1, 2, and 3. The technician is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation, has an extensive knowledge of advanced rigging and rescue techniques, holds an appropriate and current first aid certificate, and has knowledge of the IRATA International certification scheme. The Level 3 technician also possesses the necessary supervisory skills and generally acts as the team leader and rope access safety supervisor responsible for rope access safety in work projects. The technician ensures that, at all times, the team is in a position to initiate a rescue if an incident occurs, with the help of the remaining team members. They act as the link between the team, the client, and their safety system, ensuring tasks are carried out correctly, safely, and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Provide proof of previously having met the Level 1 & 2 Rope Access Task Achievement Criteria or equivalent.
• Be IRATA competent.
• Verify and sign team members' IRATA logbooks, specifying the type of rope access activity, location, and hours worked.
• Maintain their own IRATA logbook.
• Provide evidence of delivering toolbox talks, writing rescue plans, inspecting equipment, completing essential paperwork (category hours/rope logs), teaching their team rescue techniques and pulley systems during downtime, and attending Panthera Solutions Inc Level 3 workshops.

The requirements should be as follows

• Must be able to demonstrate leadership and teamwork.
• More than 3 years as an experienced IRATA L3 Technician would be advantageous
• Must have a valid PCN certification in UT & MPI
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in GVI & CVI of ship structures
• Knowledge and experience of ABS rules for inspections for ship structures & ship's hull would be advantageous
• Confined Space Entry certificate is a requirement.
• Must posses a valid UK OG medical certificate
• Must posses a valid TBOSIET with CA-EBS certificate
• TB Test certificate is required
• Yellow Fever certificate is required
